Anniversary: December 31st, 2016My lovely wife! We've been through so much together in the past six years! I've worn a dolphin ring daily for almost 7 years, and she helped me learn to scuba dive!Also a note: Canon ended when she was 19 (GnY confirmed the oldest trio are 18 and then the movie takes place a year later), but when we met she was 2 years older than me and I still see her as 2 years older than me since her role in my life is helping me navigate the world. (She was already an adult and out of high school in canon, so there's no ulterior motive and I don't see this as "aging up".)I don't post about Kanan a lot, but she was part of what got me into selfshipping and the only F/O I ever married, so I feel it's important to keep her up here <3Here's our story!:
November of 2016 her ice skating card was released and I was completely charmed by her! I was still accepting my sexuality then, so she helped me feel better about being a girl who loves girls.On December 31st of the same year I went to a convention and bought a small plush of her, I consider this the start of our relationship because I started carrying that plush everywhere. No matter how hard things got, I had Kanan.I got my dolphin ring the summer of 2017, and she continued to be my favorite part of my special interest.Soon she was graduating in the series, and by the time that season came out she was just a year older than me, and so seeing her go "ahead" of me helped me navigate that time in my life. The movie took place after she graduated and began exploring the world on her own, and it made me feel like things would be okay.When I first went to college I tried to have a "mature" room, but I couldn't help dedicating an entire shelf to my massive figure collection of her. This was another hard time, but by then I also had a big plushie of her! When that one got worn out, my brother bought me a new one, and both still sleep with me. ♡A couple years later I learned to scuba dive, and I really felt she was with me the entire time. I had grown away from Love Live, but she really came back to me then.Recently, while living in Japan, I was able to go to Uchiura and see the building her house was based on. I consider that trip our "marriage", since I realized then that she'll always be special to me.Nowadays, I see her as my wife because she represents a future where I can feel comfortable and loved by a spouse who will stay with me through everything.

Eventually we travel the desert as a merc and vigilante duo (and a flock of sheep following along).

So when I got into Project Sekai, I decided to develop my own sekai with her as my virtual singer.The sekai is a museum that slowly collects artifacts as I go through life or talk about memories. Inside the museum is a small tea room where Teto and I talk most. Really, I'd say the tea room is the main part of the sekai, and the museum is "outside".My sekai formed out of the desire to connect to others-- my self-insert is much more anxious to conform in comparison to Teto, who represents radical individuality.The sekai focuses on rock music with themes around navigating relationships.

Hello, I'm Astoria! Here is a little about me!- I am a young adult in my 20s (birthday is 11/18)- I'm conversational in Japanese and lived in Shibuya in 2022. This is when I got really into oshi/yume culture, which is why I still use those terms alongside selfship!- I am autistic, self-shipping helps me navigate and process the world. Our Story (OC x canon):
Ria is one of the cat-eared Amanto (aliens) who arrives in Edo. She ran away from her job after learning the king she worked for was corrupt.Ria initially thinks Sougo is shy, and having once been shy herself, is determined to be his friend and find his "true" self. She finds his antics fun and sees them as playing. She believes he especially must be close to Hijikata since he plays with him so much.Sougo initially sees Ria as naive, but eventually comes to admire her strength and appreciate her company. He thinks she is too kind and becomes protective over her so she won't be taken advantage of.The two have a slow burn relationship, in which Ria joins him on his shifts when she sees him in town or comes by Shinsengumi headquarters when bored. Eventually, Sougo also approaches her or calls her over when out, too. The two have a playful relationship, with Sougo indulging Ria in her games and Ria joining Sougo in his shenanigans and teasing of Hijikata and Kondo. At times they exchange lighthearted flirty lines or do casual PDA (such as Ria leaning on Sougo or Sougo petting her hair), but they play it off as being good friends. When caught in battle, the two work in a natural rhythm together.For most of her initial appearances, Ria only has a bright, positive attitude and only sees the bright side of things. Eventually, Sougo catches her on a day she is caught in the rain and doesn't have a way home, and in her exhaustion she is acting more sincere. As a result, Sougo reciprocates with his own version of sincerity. After a heart to heart and a night taking shelter from the rain, she begins staying in Sougo's room full time, justifying it by proclaiming herself the first captain's assistant. At this point they still are not romantically together, and are both a tad afraid of their own feelings since they could lose their best friend.That's largely the role Ria fills– a fellow young adult who Sougo comes to confide in. Neither are off-put by the other's strangeness, and Ria often challenges his sadistic motives. ("You want to put me on a leash..? Are you that worried about getting separated? Here, hold my hand! I promise I won't let go!")
